Introduction

Located just one block from the crashing Atlantic Ocean and Sea Girt's historic lighthouse, in the heart of the Irish Riviera, The Beacon House welcomes you with an ambiance which is uniquely its own. Built in the classic style of a grand Victorian seaside inn, circa 1879, its two spacious houses are framed by panoramic wrap around porches lined with comfortable wicker and rocking chairs. Elegant crystal and brass chandeliers descend over polished oak floors and spacious parlors are warmed by glowing fireplaces in the cooler months.

Both houses have been beautifully restored and renovated with 18 individually decorated guest rooms, all with private baths, air conditioning, ceiling fans and color cable televisions. Many rooms have private ocean view balconies with rockers, fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. Mornings begin with our special blend of freshly brewed coffee followed by a sumptuous homemade breakfast served in our bright and elegant dining room. Weekly efficiency rentals are also available in our Cottage, Carriage House and Light House Studio for families or guests desiring more privacy.

Spacious Parlor There's much to do at The Beacon House! Spend a glorious day at one of New Jersey's most pristine beaches, relax in the peaceful serenity of a chaise lounge at our private pool, stroll nearly 3 miles of non-commercial boardwalks, and explore the shops and eateries of Sea Girt, Spring Lake and Manasquan. Tennis courts are within walking distance and bicycles are provided enabling you to cruise through magnificent neighborhoods dotted with breathtaking mansions. World class bird watching and spectacular sunsets occur daily at Wreck Pond, as well as seasonal tours of the historic lighthouse, both less than a block away.

Summer weekend nights are enhanced by the entertainment scene at the Parker House, just across the street, and we provide you with VIP passes. Golf courses abound in our area. Or just settle into a wicker chair or a porch rocker, to pass some time and watch the world go by.
