Avon by the Sea is a historic Vicotrian town, located on the New Jersey shore about 60 miles from both New York and Philladelphia. Watch the swans at Sylvan Lake, or see the boats come in on Shark River. Spend hours on the white sandy beaches on the Atlantic Ocean or go scuba diving for a more radical experience.
