Built in 1850, the Inn is an airy, Victorian "painted lady." Completely renovated in 1988 by John and Barbara Girton, The Angel is, today, one of the premier B&Bs in the USA. We provide 27 guest rooms, all with private bath, and many with ocean views. All rooms are decorated in Grand Victorian style and each has its own unique personality. The Angel of the Sea is one of the many beautiful reasons why the city of Cape May, New Jersey is a National Historic Landmark.

Then choose from our ever-changing gourmet entrees which are served directly to your table. Our "Angel of the Sea" cookbook, featuring an array of delicious recipes, allows you to relive your memories at home.

After breakfast, relax and enjoy the view from one of our many verandahs, or you may choose to take a refreshing dip in the Atlantic Ocean. In fine weather, ride into town using our complimentary bicycles.
