You are always warmly welcomed at the Alpine Haus Bed and Breakfast Inn, a 114-year-old Federal Style Inn with Victorian highlights, and its adjacent Carriage House. Both buildings have recently been renovated. They are now to begin their second century of existence, transformed into a ten-room Bed and Breakfast Inn. A beautiful country breakfast is served in the dining room, or in the summer, you can enjoy a light breakfast outside on our second-story, covered porch, with wonderful views of the Vernon Valley and Pochuck Mountains. Our formal sitting room with its fireplace and the less formal family area are available for your comfort. Gather with others, read, or just relax in front of the fireplace in our formal living room. | The Alpine Haus Bed & Breakfast is located on Route 94 adjacent to Mountain Creek Ski Resort and Water Park providing skiing and summer water fun as well as other year round activities, such as, mountain biking, gondola rides and hiking, etc. We are within close proximity to Hidden Valley Ski area, the Great Gorge Golf Reserve, consisting of four individual golf courses, all of which are only minutes away. Each season is abound with its own activities; biking and hiking in the spring; fishing and swimming in the summer; apple picking and foliage touring in the Fall; and, of course, skiing in the Winter. Close to the Appalachian Trail numerous hikers and bird watchers flock to the area. Antiquing and shopping are available year round. Restaurants to accommodate all budgets and tastes are located nearby. |

The Inn contains eight guestrooms, each with private bath facilities. The Carriage House has two suites, one of which is ADA Compliant for our handicapped guests. Each suite is able to accommodate four guests and is complete with fireplace, Jacuzzi and sitting area. For your comfort all of our accommodations are centrally air-conditioned. The rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques; most have queen-size beds. Each separate room is named after wild mountain flowers that characterize the mood of the room, from Snow Berry to Violet, you'll find a room that meets all your needs and makes you feel right at home. The rooms are accented with complementary décor to match its wild mountain flower name. All 8 of our guest rooms and our 2 suites are appointed with fine antique furniture and feature private bathrooms, cablevision and telephones with data ports. Most rooms offer queen sized beds. Romantic elegance abounds in rooms like our Violet suite, where you can relax in front of your own private fireplace, or drift away in the Jacuzzi tub.
