| Whitney's Inn at Jackson has been one of New Hampshire's premier destination resorts since the 1840s, welcoming both couples and families with its charming guestrooms, superb dining in the rustic Shovel Handle Pub, its beautifully maintained grounds, and proximity to next door neighbor, Black Mountain Ski Resort. The only lodging property in the area with both downhill and cross-country skiing just outside its doors and now under new ownership as of November 1, 2007. |

Our recently renovated dining room, The Birches, will wrap its arms around you with its warm colors and beautiful country setting. Enjoy our breakfast of waffles, eggs, pancakes, and so much more prepared by our chef. Sit by our stone fireplace and be lit by our snowshoes sconces. The Birches is also available for small parties and weddings and has a full service fireplaced pub for cocktail parties prior to lunch or dinner.
The Shovel Handle Pub has been a favorite of locals and tourists for decades and offers Yankee style cuisine to compliment the rustic charm of this 3-story post and beam barn. Family-friendly live entertainment is offered most weekends. The Shovel Handle Pub also provides a great venue for weddings and parties up to 125 people. |
| Whitney's Inn has five distinctive guestroom styles to meet our guests' every need. Sixteen of our twenty-six rooms are located within the main inn. We also have eight two-rooms suites and two, two-bedroom cottages. Our Luxury rooms in the South Wing all have King size beds and extremely spacious seating areas. Our eight, two-rooms suites contain a Queen bedroom and a living room with cultured stone fireplaces, pullout sofas, and mini-kitchens. The two-bedroom cottages each have a Queen bedroom and two twins in the other bedroom. Cultured stone fireplaces and mini-kitchens are also included in the cottages. The Suites, and cottages contain new 26" flat screen HDTV players with built in DVD players. All rooms have private bathrooms and cable television. Wireless Internet is currently available in the main inn. |
