"Victorian Bed and Breakfast By the Sea" The style is pure Victorian Ginger Bread, because Rock Ledge Manor was built between 1840 and 1880 as part of a major seaside resort colony. The white mansard gambrel-roofed house with wraparound porch overlooks the Atlantic at Concord Point, just south of Wallis Sands, Rye State Beach.

• Rock Ledge Manor is only 5 miles from historic Portsmouth with its museums, galleries, restaurants, and all-year schedule of special events.

• From May to October, cruises to the off shore islands and whale-watching trips leave from Rye Harbor.
• The two Seacoast State Parks are both in Rye. Rye Harbor Park has picnic areas and saltwater fishing. Odiorne Point was the site of the first European settlement in New Hampshire (1623) and has an Interpretive Center with programs offered by the Audubon Society and University of New Hampshire. Its tide pools are wonderful.

Breakfast included; coffee, tea, juices, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, fresh home made baked goods & afternoon snack !Off the breakfast room, a delightfully old fashioned sun room is just the place to retire with the morning papers.
