Riverside is trailside in the Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring network, and we'll make you a Club Member for a day of unlimited trail access. Ski or snowshoe the Intervale Trail right out our front door, then ski along the Saco River, through the Intervale Scenic Vista, on the many trails of Whitaker Woods, and into North Conway Village. Access some of the most magnificent winter views of Mt. Washington in the valley from over 65 km of trails, ungroomed or groomed for both classical skiing or skate skiing. There's a diverse selection of terrain for all abilities, with over 50% of the network rated "easy". Snowshoeing requires no special skills and allows you to explore at a pace as easy as a casual walk or as difficult as a winter mountain hike. Equipment rentals and lessons are available at the nearby Touring Center.

With a FREE trail or tubing pass, you can enjoy an exhilarating day of outdoor fun at Great Glen. The cross country ski trail system at Great Glen, with easy and rolling terrain, allows skiers of all abilities to find the right level of activity, challenge, and fun. The trails are groomed with both double tracks and a skating lane and run through the forests at the base of Mt. Washington. A heated cabin and log cabin are great places to stop, rest, and take in the fabulous views. Snowshoe on groomed trails or strike out on well-marked backcountry trails, to enjoy the sights and sounds of the White Mountain National Forest. Or use your FREE one-day pass to slide down the hill on a snow tube, feeling like a kid again.
