Riverside Inn Bed and Breakfast is located in the quaint New England mountain village of Intervale, in Mt Washington Valley, not far from Jackson Village. With a backdrop of over 700,000 acres of protected White Mountain National Forest, the 100+ year old property is less than three miles north of North Conway, New Hampshire. One of the most breathtaking views of the tallest peak in the northeastern US - Mt. Washington (6,288 ft.) - is readily nearby at the Intervale Scenic Vista. The Inn's location provides convenient access to the Mount Washington Valley and the abundant activities spanning all four seasons.

The three-story Victorian was constructed in 1906 as a private residence in the quaint mountain village of Intervale. Now lovingly restored as a comfortable, spacious, intimate bed and breakfast inn, Riverside's innkeepers Ken and Chris Lydecker bring years of experience in the hospitality business to creating a perfect getaway. Renew your spirit and rediscover life's sparkle as a guest of Riverside Inn.

The Inn's Living Room (pictured above) is a popular place for relaxation and conversation. Spacious yet intimate, with three inviting couches, comfortable wing chairs, a baby grand piano and spinet, gas fireplace, and bright airy views of the lush landscape surrounding the Inn... it's a natural gathering place. Afternoon tea with home-baked cookies is served here.

Enjoy the full country breakfast in the bright and roomy Breakfast Room, with gas fireplace and wood floors. The daily entree varies, with delights such as waffles with strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream and New Hampshire maple syrup; Riverside pancakes with apples; and scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and tomatoes. Delectable sides include bacon, sausage, hash, potatoes, fresh fruit and more, and the daily 7-fruit smoothie is a Riverside specialty.

For area brochures and menus or a good book to borrow for your stay, the Library offers yet another place to unwind, with its grandfather clock and gas fireplace. Or take your book to the Sun Room, overlooking the East Branch river, a favorite spot for playing board games.

  • Spring: $109 - $189
  • Summer: $119 - $225
  • Fall: $109 - $225
  • Winter: $109 - $225
  • Due to our small size, we recommend reservations well in advance.
  • A deposit of one night's tariff is required to guarantee a reservation.
  • Cash, traveler's checks, personal checks, major credit cards and bank debit (ATM) cards are accepted.
  • If it becomes necessary to cancel your reservation, a $25 cancellation fee will apply. Reservations must be canceled 7 days prior to arrival for refund of deposit, less cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made after this 7 day deadline will result in forfeiture of deposit, if accommodation is not rented.
  • All tariff listings are based on double occupancy.
  • Please add $25 for each extra person.
  • Also, tariffs do not include state and local taxes.
  • Weekly and monthly rates are also available; please inquire.
  • Check-in after 4 pm
  • Check-out by 10 pm
