Welcome to the Lighthouse Inn!

Our historic Inn, located only minutes from the lively Weirs Beach area, was attentively built in 1934 by shipbuilder Byron Hedblom who brought the Mount Washington cruise ship to Lake Winnipesaukee.

  • The five cozy guest rooms sit on five acres of grassy fields and forest on a colorful, tree-lined country road that provides a quiet setting. It is the perfect place for visitors to all of the Lakes Region activities as well as a romantic getaway or gatherings of family, friends or other small groups.

  • Each room has a private bath and a feather-like bed. Select rooms offer a whirlpool tub, gas or electric fireplace, or even a private patio with a separate entrance.

  • The gourmet country breakfast features fresh baked pastry, and breads, an individual hot entree. Complimentary afternoon tea includes Pat's nationally acclaimed chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. As your attentive hosts, Pat and Mike will add the special individual touches to make your visit memorable.

We now offer comfortable one- and two-bedroom cottages on Paugus Bay at Weirs Beach that sleep four and seven people. Each has kitchen facilities, air conditioning, gas grill, picnic table, cable tv and a gas fireplace. They are a few steps away from a private beach and in-ground swimming pool, and minutes away from all the activities in the Lakes Region. Day docking also is available.

Reservation Information

Rates: $90 to $200
Cash, Check and Credit Cards accepted for payment.
Check in time is after 3:00pm and check out time is 11:00am.
Peak periods require a two night deposit.
A minimum 2- or 3-night stay is required during peak periods.
$20 extra for a 3rd adult in a room.
Peak periods are during Motorcycle Week and Nascar weekends.
For the comfort of our guests we are a non smoking establishment.
No pets, please.
We are unable to accommodate children under 10.
