Meet The Innkeepers
Gretchen and Rick Schwerdtfeger are the new innkeepers at Fox Brook Farm, having recently relocated to the area from southern Ohio. Gretchen grew up in Dubuque, Iowa, and Rick grew up on a 300 acre Morgan horse and cattle ranch near Galena, IL. Gretchen's flair for hospitality and their love of rural living made them great candidates for innkeepers. Gretchen has the chance to try out some new recipes and meet new people while Rick spends his days as the Vice President of a high tech renewable energy startup company. They are enjoying the fresh air, horses, and lots of room for their two dogs, Gunner and Bo. Rick plays a lot of tennis, and Gretchen plays tennis and platform tennis as well.
Their oldest son, Dylan, is a sophomore at the University of Kentucky where he is studying International Business, and playing tennis on the club tennis team. Luke, their youngest son, is a senior at Souhegan High School. He is an avid mountain hiker, and enjoys tennis and golf.
"The surroundings were beyond our expectations. Breakfasts provided by our hostess, Gretchen, were delicious.
The cheerful manner of our hostess was most comfortable and welcome." Georgiane and Bill, Clarence, NY
