The Darby Field Inn features a full service restaurant for the dining pleasure of our guests.

At Dinner, we have seatings every 15 minutes from 6 to 8 or 9 p.m., depending on the season. Below are a few samplings from our daily changing menu.

Restaurant

Appetizers

  • The 'Inn soup' - Fresh, perfectly seasoned and prepared from homemade stocks.
  • Bourbon & Bacon Shrimp - Three bacon wrapped shrimp baked in a bourbon sauce.
  • Smoked Salmon - Thinly sliced salmon served with a maple mustard horseradish sauce.
  • Country Stuffed Mushrooms - Filled with a spinach and herbed bread crumb stuffing.

Dinners

  • All dinners include a crudite, fresh garden salad, fresh breads, vegetables, and a choice of our Chef's potato or rice.
  • Filet Mignon - Tenderloin of beef grilled to order and served natural or with a brandy peppercorn sauce.
  • Raspberry Duckling - Our house speiality! Served crisp with our raspberry/chambord sauce.
  • Rack of Lamb - New Zealand rack of lamb coated with dijon and herbed bread crumbs, roasted, then served with a rich Burgundy sauce..
  • Veal and Shrimp - Tender pieces of veal and shrimp sauteed in a fresh sage burre blanc.

Specialty After Dinner Drink

  • The Irish Revolution - A unique blend of O'Darby's Irish Cream, Irish Mist, Jameson's Irish Whiskey and ice cream. An interesting alternative to the molotov cocktail.

Desserts

  • All of our desserts are prepared in the Inn's kitchen.
  • Creme Celeste - An eggless sour cream custard with a hint of orange Cointreau; served with a raspberry pureé.
  • Natural Vanilla and Flavored Ice Cream
  • French Apple Pie - Lovingly baked with fresh apples & topped with a brown sugar crumb topping.
  • Chocolate Paté - A moist flourless chocolate cake sliced and served warm with a white chocolate sauce.

Houseguests

  • MAP includes choice of appetizer, dinner, dessert, and coffee, tea or milk.
