The Clarke House

We have five guest rooms including two suites with fireplaces. All have private baths, some with whirlpools and all have TV/DVD's and WIFI access. We offer many other amenities such as common rooms with cozy fireplaces and DVD's, music CD's and our literature collection for our guests' use. A generous country breakfast is served beside the fireplace. Tranquility and comfort are plentiful as our guests enjoy the charm and beauty of New Hampshire.

• Prices based on double occupancy and includes a full country breakfast.
• All rates are subject to an 8% New Hampshire rooms and meals tax.
• There is an additional charge of $20 for an extra person in a suite or room.
• A deposit of 50% is required to confirm a reservation.
• The remaining 50% is due upon check-in.
• In the event of a cancellation, deposits will be returned provided we are notified at least 14 days before the scheduled arrival date, less a $25 processing fee. If less than 14 days, deposit may be used toward another visit within 6 months provided we can rebook the cancelled reservation.
• Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.
• A 30 day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.
• Check-in: 3 - 7 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.
• Check-out: 12 PM.
• The Clarke House is a smoke free property. A $250 Cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card if found in violation of this policy. Smoking is allowed in designated outside areas.
• We are sorry that we cannot accommodate pets. We do have cats but they are kept only in innkeepers quarters.
• Well behaved children are welcome.
