The farmhouse and barn retain their character, while many modern conveniences have been added. A screened in wraparound porch is a great place to relax, while the four beautifully decorated guest rooms include furnishings such as a Shaker-style 4 post canopy and sleigh bed. Local attractions include fine restaurants, museums and antique stores in Wolfeboro. Beaches, fishing and boating are available at nearby Lake Winnipesaukee, while hiking, biking, golf, and tennis are also available nearby.

to restore the beauty of the historic Waumbeck Farm.

The Afton Inn Bed & Breakfast - Wolfeboro, New Hampshire Built in the early 1800's as the hub of one of the first chartered farmsteads in Wolfeboro, the Waumbeck Farm was purchased in 2000 and completely restored. We offer our guests four elegantly decorated rooms with private baths (2 w/whirlpool tubs), A/C, cable TV, VCR, CD player and individually zoned heat. A sumptuous multi course breakfast greets you in the morning, which can be enjoyed indoors or on our large screened wraparound porch. Wolfeboro, the "Oldest Summer Resort in America" offers the New England small town experience with fine shops, dining, museums and outdoor activities. We have a large parking area suitable for trailers, free boat launch within 1 mile and a barn for storing bikes, kayaks and motorcycles.

The Afton Inn warmly welcomes you each morning with a home cooked gourmet breakfast served in the main dining room.
Breakfast is enjoyed by the warmth of a crackling fire, on one of New Hampshire's occasional chilly mornings.

In the evening, after enjoying a full day of exploring the town, you'll find numerous videos, board games, and books to enjoy in our library.

Four beautiful and individually decorated guest rooms are all furnished with queen sized beds of various designs, including a Shaker-style four post canopy bed and a sleigh bed. Two spacious suites offer guests the luxury of a whirpool tub, and all rooms have private baths, TV/VCR and air conditioning.

We now offer high speed internet access for our guests... both wired and WIRELESS!

Dining Room
Enjoy your sumptuous gourmet breakfast in our spacious dining room under an original restored tin ceiling. This room is dedicated to our guests. Sit and spread out your maps and brochures to plan your day - businessmen use this as their traveling workspace.
