Anna's House Bed and Breakfast
 Historic meets convenience in this fully restored heritage home, built in 1893. Strategically located minutes from Downtown business, boutique shopping, restaurant, recreation, music, and the arts district, you can have it all just minutes from your doorstep.

Nestled securely downtown on Prescott Street, in St. John's prestigious historic properties area, amongst Cathedrals, live theater, and fine restaurants, Anna's House is halfway between Hotel Fairmont/Newfoundland (Eastern End of downtown) and Hotel Delta/Convention Complex (Western End of Downtown) which is adjacent to Mile One Stadium, home of the St. John's Maple Leafs.

Just about every St. John's attraction is within an easy five minute walking radius of the House. Beautiful views of Signal Hill and the Narrows and proximity to Bannerman Park, historic sites, green spaces, and George Street, this location has become one of several distinctive addresses in St. John's.

Our rooms are ideal for an extended visit. We have a smoke-free environment.

Anna's House was built in 1893 and retains its features, including wood trim, plaster moldings, hardwood floors, very high ceilings, fireplaces in the dining room and sitting area. Guests enjoy a complimentary breakfast each morning, which includes fresh fruits, steaming coffee and house specialties.

  • Rates are from $85 to $199 in season (50% off-season discount).
  • 4 Star Canada Select Grading.
  • Cancellation policy: 72 hours. Please enquire. During major conventions, a two-week cancellation notice is required.
  • A complimentary hot breakfast service is provided each morning. Early or late breakfasts may be provided. Please enquire.
  • Check out 11 a.m. Check in 12 a.m. Can be flexible depending on guests' arrival.
  • We have a very friendly in-house cat.
