Introduction
Welcome to the Rocking Chair Inn Bed and Breakfast
Cindy and her dog, Scooter, invite you to come and rock on their comfortable wrap-around front porch or take a stroll on the quiet streets of Broken Bow. The downtown square has many shops to visit, including an old-fashioned ice cream parlor. The Custer County Fair Grounds are located just minutes away and have something happening nearly every weekend. The Rocking Chair Inn Bed and Breakfast is located in a Queen Anne Victorian built in 1905 by J. J. Wilson, who operated a grainery in the area. The downstairs rooms have beautiful woodwork throughout, starting with the staircase in the front foyer. Check out the engraving in the door hinges leading into the kitchen and the pocket doors in the living and dining rooms.
