Gone Fishing
Here in the Smoky Mountains, year round fishing is available on some of the most picturesque and abundant rivers and streams East of the Mississippi River. Rainbow, Brown and Brooke trout swim these waters and catching a "Grand Slam" (all three in the same day) is not uncommon. The Tuckseegee River, located only a few miles from The Yellow House, is known to be the most trout-populated river in the state.

Join Alex Bell, guide and owner of AB's Fly Fishing , for a day of flies, fish and fun! Whether you are an expert already and are just looking for someone with local knowledge or if you've always wanted to learn but have never actually had a rod in your hand, Alex is the person to show you the way. He'll give you lessons down by The Yellow House pond and then you'll head out to all of Alex's favorite spots. We've arranged special rates for our special guests, so give us a call for details.
