Introduction

Like a grand old Duchess on a throne, it sits on top of the hill, looking out across the misty green of the Blue Ridge Mountains, across a pastoral kingdom of cows in the meadow and frogs in the lily pond.

This is the Yellow House on Plott Creek Road. Its ten bedrooms, (including 6 king suites), borrow their colors from the impressionists, and their playful serenity from the French countryside. And all of the pleasures of the mountains are almost as close as your bedside breakfast.
