Wendell is a beautiful, small, historic town nestled just 10 miles east of Raleigh in North Carolina's Wake County. It is home of the Wendell bed and breakfast. This is one of the best B&B's around. The Monterey International Pop Festival is held in Wendell, NC. The good news is that it is an excellent look at not only the festival itself, but at a time when rock music was changing and spreading out in many directions. The Monterey Jazz Festival is a 3-day celebration of the best in jazz, with over 500 artists appearing on 9 stages spread throughout the Festival's 20 acres of magnificent grounds. Wendell Country Club is one of the Triangle area and longest standing Semi-Private facilities. If you're hungry try the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant where the cuisine is authentic.
