We are pleased to offer your choice of two Maggie Valley cabins. These vacation homes are available daily, weekly, or monthly. Breakfast and housekeeping are not included, but can certainly be arranged as a special treat during your stay. Each sits on a meandering country lane, offering privacy and comfort along a mountain stream, in old-growth forest. Available year 'round.
And your dog is welcome here.
The Black Bear Cottage in the Woods
Sleeps four in two queen master bedrooms, each with private double-jacuzzi bath. Gorgeous wood-burning fireplace in the living room. Well-equipped kitchen. Decks over the stream. Hardwood floors -the original old chestnut, actually! $1750/weekly ($350/daily)
The Creek House
Sleeps eight in two king master bedrooms (both with double-jacuzzi bath and separate shower: one features a shiatsu shower, and the other has a skylight over the tub!) plus a queen bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the second living room, and an additional half-bath. Wood-burning fireplaces in both living rooms, plus another out on the creekside deck. Lovely views. Fully equipped pure country kitchen. Vaulted beamed oak ceilings. Three skylights, including the one over the jacuzzi! $2400/weekly ($480/daily)
Both houses have fireplaces, wireless internet access, cable TV, VCRs, DVD & CD players, telephone, and naturally, upscale linens and amenities. But mainly, it's the stream... It tumbles right past both houses in a series of little waterfalls. There's just nothing like sleeping to the soothing sound of the tumbling stream.

Your honeymoon begins with a late check-in. (We know how those receptions linger on.) Just follow the trail of rose petals to your suite...
A bottle of bubbly awaits you in the your own fridge. The Timberwolf Retreat has a tree house atmosphere: this second-story suite has a balcony view across the creek and the pasture, and up the mountainside.
Lights are low, fill your champagne glasses and toast each other in your Jacuzzi bathtub-for-two in the moonlight -the skylight over the tub is set into vaulted red oak ceilings! A bowl of fresh rose petals sits by your tub to scent the bath water. A pair of luscious chocolate truffles awaits on the nightstand.
Next day, start your morning with a lavish candlelit breakfast. On warmer mornings, your breakfast is served on the South Deck overlooking the creek as it tumbles by in a series of little waterfalls. Cooler mornings bring breakfast indoors, but the marvelous view of the stream is the same, and a welcoming fire will be burning in the fireplace. Spend your day touring The Great Smoky Mountains, hiking to a waterfall, rafting the whitewater, driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, or going horseback riding.
Then it's off to a romantic dinner for two where you'll enjoy the area's finest prime rib or selection of entrees.

Weddings in Brigadoon Cove
A note from Sandee:
This is an exceptionally beautiful place to have your wedding, at a very reasonable price. There's a reason for that. Long ago, when I was much younger, I spent a couple of years as a wedding coordinator. And decided then and there that one day I would find a way to give people the wedding of their dreams. All these years later, Larry and I found the Cove. The minute we saw it, I just knew... This is it! It came out of the mists just like Brigadoon. You could almost hear Gene Kelly singing!
The cove is completely enclosed by soaring trees and enormous rhododendron. The stream splashes all the way through the cove, and in the pond goldfish flash in dappled sunlight. I told Larry that we'd have dream weddings here, and this way, my dream and yours can come true. We feel that it's such an honor to be a part of your special day, and thank you for the privilege.
