Welcome To Our Home

 ... by R.R. Galloway, a prominent landowner. Mr. Galloway also built the house next door, owned the Galloway Opera House downtown and donated land for the First Baptist Church across the street.

Located within easy walking distance of the business district and the Visitor's Center, Snappy Lunch, Floyd's Barber Shop and the Andy Griffith Theatre.

Mount Airy is the birthplace of Andy Griffith, Donna Fargo, Tommy Jarrell and Eng & Chang Bunker (the famous Siamese twins who raised their families in Mount Airy).

Mount Airy is located within a few miles of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Blue Ridge Music Center and Shelton Vineyards.

The Thomas House Bed & Breakfast wants you to feel like you are an old friend visiting a private home.

Dining Room

Breakfast is served in our large dining room (pictured above) furnished with beautiful cherry furniture. Our full country breakfast is served using beautiful table linens on our banquet sized table.
Our living room (pictured below) has a 12' ceiling, beautiful moldings and a fireplace. Furnished with an antique Duncan Fife couch and wingback chairs, a ladie's secretary and chair.
