Edenton's The Pack House Inn, built in 1915, was originally a Tobacco Packing House at the 1785 Strawberry Hill Plantation. In 1987 it was cut in half and moved to Edenton, N.C. to its present location. Restored and converted into an eight bedroom inn by Arch and Jane Edwards, founders of the well known Lord Proprietor's Inn. This two-story Edenton B&B is one of North Carolina's best examples of a Tobacco Packing House architecture - one of a few still in existence. The Pack House Inn is on the NC Historic Register.
