Innkeepers Scott and Karen Clark have created a peaceful haven for guests to explore the Cape Fear Coast. Located in Wilmington's Historic District, the Taylor House Inn is a comfortable, romantic, turn-of-the century house built in 1905 by local merchant, John Allen Taylor. This Neo-Classic Revival's unassuming exterior conceals an interior of surprising grandeur. As the sun sets on this historic city, cool breezes, rocking chairs and porch swings await guests of the Taylor House Inn. Two lovely parlors offer a comfortable and elegant setting where guests can read, converse, sip sherry and listen to music. Luxury greets guests in the five guest rooms, each with a private bath.
