Centrally located, this magnificent 1915 Colonial Revival home offers urban sophistication with a flair for comfort and friendliness. Located only 1 1/2 miles south of downtown Asheville's shops, galleries, restaurants and cafes. Only 1/2 mile north of the Biltmore estate entrance, the Sweet Biscuit Inn is convenient to all of Asheville's attractions. Whether you are visiting Asheville for the diverse cultural charm, the opulence of the Biltmore Estate, or the spectacular mountains of Western North Carolina, your visit with us will make you smile. |

The Sweet Biscuit Inn features 11 foot ceilings, tiger oak wood floors, a dramatic formal staircase, and a relaxing front porch. Each guest room at the Sweet Biscuit Inn features a queen bed, a private full bath with antique tub and pedestal sink, cable television, air conditioning and wireless Internet access. A clever combination of antiques and family heirlooms were selected to give each room warmth and a familiar appeal. All of our rooms are full of southern charm and simplicity, offering comfort and shelter for your rest. The grounds of Sweet Biscuit Inn include a shade garden with an ornamental fish pond, a large brick patio, multiple beds of annual and perennial gardens, as well an imaginative playground. |

Mornings at the Sweet Biscuit Inn nourish the soul as breakfast aromas fill the air...hot coffee, homemade biscuits, muffins, scones, sweet cinnamon rolls, country bacon, sausages and egg specialties. These are but a few of the items served. Guests gather in the warmth of the dining room, where a crackling fire takes off any morning chills. Colorful mismatched Fiestaware dishes set the table. An eclectic mix of candlesticks cast a warm glow, starting your day on a cheerful note. The owners, Angela and Robert Maddix occupy the second and third story of this 7,000 square foot home with their two children, Niko and Olivia. Your children are welcome too. Their presence adds humor and vitality to our casually unpretentious and most delightful Bed and Breakfast. |

Babysitting If you came as a family, you may want a bit of time alone as well. Movie, dinner or gallery hopping are not always a kid's choice for fun. We have a short list of child care providers that you will be pleased with. Give us advance notice for some Mom and Dad time. We have a great playground, and plenty of games or toys to share.

Our Inn is perfect for hanging around and enjoying each member of the family. We have several sitting areas, a huge front porch with swing, a front lawn with croquet, a side playground, and a back brick patio and garden with tables and benches. We can help you plan places to see or you can relax and visit with each other. Our home is really your home. |
