Grand rooms offer Jacuzzi & larger porch with porch swing. They are: Hatteras, Bird Island, Old Baldy, and Vesta.
The Standard rooms are: Scotch Bonnet, Hibiscus, Azalea, Bermuda, Charleston, Smithville, Dogwood, Live Oak, Magnolia, & Oleander.
We have two adjoining rooms for small families and one handicap accessible room.
**The lower rate is for the standard and the higher rate is for the grand room.

The Sunset Inn Policy Information
  • No more than 2 people per room. NO EXCEPTIONS! Adults with children must have prior approval before making a reservation and are limited to our two adjoining rooms only. We ask that the children be 12 and over.
  • WE DO NOT ALLOW SMOKING IN OUR ROOMS. Outside ONLY!
  • NO PETS ALLOWED!
  • Parking areas are to the right and left of the lobby. Do not park under the lobby area.
  • Refunds will not be made for inclement weather except in the case of a MANDATORY evacuation of the Island by Brunswick County Officials.
  • During your stay, guests are responsible for maintaining good condition of each room. Inn personnel upon your departure will carefully inspect each room. Guests will be charged for any damaged or missing items.
  • Check out time is 11 a.m. and Check in time is 3 p.m.
  • Daily maid service is provided, however; the sheets will only be changed during visits for more than four days.
  • Hairdryers and irons are located in the bathroom cabinets.
  • There are individual storage rooms on the ground level for your use. Please use these rooms for bikes, floats, chairs, etc. Your room key will fit these doors.
  • Please have your credit card ready at checkout. We will need to run it through our machine and have you sign.
