Sunset Beach is located on the coast of North Carolina, just north of the North Carolina/South Carolina border, and boasts many warm and inviting B&B establishments. Ocean Isle Beach, located near Sunset Beach, is home to a large annual fishing tournament each year. Nearby Southport hosts a three day 4th of July festival annually. It has fireworks, food and fun for the entire family. There is always so much going on in this town so if you are planning a visit why not book a room in advance at a Sunset Beach bed and breakfast or a Sunset Beach inn. Sunset Beach is a golfer's haven as the area features over 30 area golf courses, including Lion's Paw and Oyster Bay Golf Links. Ripley's Aquarium is located in nearby Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and well worth the drive. Crabby Oddwaters is a fun local joint located in Sunset Beach with great food. In nearby Southport, The Shrimp House is a great place to enjoy fresh seafood - especially the shrimp!
