Introduction

Welcome to Seagrove Stoneware Inn & Pottery, a unique Bed & Breakfast in the center of the Pottery Capitol of the United States. Seagrove Stoneware Inn & Pottery is owned and operated by Master Potters David Fernandez and Alexa Modderno. The Inn enhances your pottery shopping experience by providing you access to knowledgeable, professional potters.

Each large spacious guestroom features handmade pottery from both local and national known potters, as well as original art work. An early evening welcoming reception, as well as a guest living room & kitchen is provided. Breakfast is served daily. Come stay with us and we will do all we can, to make Seagrove one of your favorite places to stay, shop and relax.

Raku Room
Raku Room 		Our home was built in 1920 and is located in downtown Seagrove on the corner of Business 220 and Pottery Highway. We completed renovations in February 2009 to accommodate guests, and welcome you to our Inn. The house reflects our eclectic tastes. It is comfortably decorated, with an artistic style that features original artwork and pottery from across the country. Our retail gallery is adjacent to the Inn, and was the original Seagrove General Store built in 1890. Our studio is also located on the premises, and as our guests, we welcome you into our studio to watch us at work.

We are within walking distance of all downtown shops, the N. C. Pottery Center, and the Museum of N. C. Traditional Pottery. We will also be able to provide you with information on all the local potteries, so you can plan your shopping day.

Policies
  • No minimum stay is required
  • In consideration of others, smoking is not allowed inside the Inn. Smoking is permitted only in designated exterior smoking area.
  • Pets accepted upon advanced approval. A $25 additional fee, per pet, per night is required.
  • Horses accepted with advance notice. Offsite facility for those traveling with their equine friends. Additional fee.
  • Children accepted with advance notice. No childcare is provided. Only two persons per room.
  • Check in after 3 PM; Check out before 11 AM. Please check with us to make other arrangements if other times are necessary.
  • Deposit: To confirm your reservation, we charge a deposit of 100% for a single night stay, or 50% of the total booking charge for 2 or more nights.
  • Cancellations require a 14 day notice and will be subject to a $25 processing fee. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to your arrival date will be charged in full or credited to a future booking or credit given for purchases in our gallery.
  • No refunds for early departure.
