The lace-canopied King sized pencil post bed in the Savannah Guest Room is a reproduction in mahogany of an 18th century federal style bed. This style of bed was the most common in use in the finer homes of New England at the time of the Revolutionary War. In addition to having a top-of-the-line pillow top mattress, it also has a feather bed, and in the colder months, is covered with a luxurious goose-down duvet. The lace canopy drapes can be left tied back as shown or allowed to hang free around the bed to create the ultimate romantic atmosphere. The oversized bathroom is surrounded with windows looking onto the mountains and includes a shower, double vanity, a bidet and a two-person Jacuzzi whirlpool tub
