Over the years, the hotel has been utilized as a hospital, retirement home, training facility, and an apartment building. Today the owner and innkeeper, an award winning preservationist, has lovingly restored this building. The hotel still retains its original ambiance and charm, with modern amenities available to create a memorable stay.

Children of any age are welcome and we do provide pack and plays for infants and toddlers. Families traveling with children are required to stay in our deluxe suites with sleeper sofas. These rooms are located at the end of the hallways.
