Room Amenities
A refined, relaxing mountain atmosphere is found in all of the Inn’s
accommodations. Cozy, yet not fussy, with private baths, firm beds with handmade quilts, fresh linens, towels & bathrobes, ample reading lights, ceiling fans, and other soothing amenities, such as conditioning shampoo, lotion and our glycerin soap. Color cable TV is also provided in all rooms … you aren’t coming for it, but if that one ball game can’t be missed, it’s here for you. Our Rhododendron Rooms, Suites and Cottages also have alarm clocks, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards.
Oak Terrace
All rooms have screened windows that open, allowing the cool
mountain breezes to flow through. They also have heat and blankets
too … you’ll need it most evenings here in the mountains. All rooms,
except the Oak Terrace rooms, are air conditioned, just in the unlikely event you may feel too warm. All Rooms are nonsmoking; smoking is allowed outside.
Guest Accommodations
Our 21 guest accommodations are in Rooms, Suites and Cottages and
comfortably house 2 adults. Rooms are in the Oak Terrace building
(circa 1947) and Rhododendron building (circa 1974). Both have
wide front porches with rockers, from which you access your room. Suites are on the 2nd floor of the
Main Lodge. Our suites are larger and feature a more comfortable seating area in the room with a sofa
and rocker plus a gas log fireplace. The ground floor of the Main Lodge houses our office, kitchen,
