The New Berne House Inn has three stories, with bedrooms, all with private baths, on each floor. The main floor has a bedroom which was converted from the original Sun Parlour. There are four bedrooms on the second floor and the third floor is home to two large attic bedrooms. Each room is comfortably designed with guests in mind. One of the third floor rooms is home to a brass bed which was reportedly rescued from a burning brothel in 1897. Of additional historical interest, this brass bed was also owned by Barry Goldwater at one point. All stays include a full breakfast - selection of homemade breads, a hot dish, specialty sweet treat, fruit, and choice of juice, coffee and tea. Breakfast is served on vintage dishes in the beautiful dining room. Rates: $79 - $99 plus tax.
