Mountain Hearth Lodge is an elegantly rustic Bed and Breakfast getaway in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains secluded between Roaring Gap and Sparta, North Carolina just off Vestal road at Milepost 231.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are centrally located in the northwest mountains of North Carolina and a short drive from Winston-Salem, Raleigh-Durham, Chapel Hill, Charlotte and Wilkesboro, North Carolina, Blacksburg, Marion and Bristol Virginia and Johnson City Tennessee.

Go back in time to the informal and warm setting of mountain hospitality, to the furnishings of your great grandparents, to stunning scenery and a relaxed philosophy? Mountain Hearth Lodge is the perfect location to plan your next corporate retreat, planning meeting, family reunion, wedding/reception, bridal breakfast, holiday party, or church gathering. We can accommodate overnight groups up to 16 people or daily events of 35.

The Alleghany Room 		The Mountain Hearth Lodge is a rustic bed and breakfast getaway in a prime forest-setting, along the edge of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Enjoy its bubbling creek of clear mountain water, two inviting ponds like miniaturized Waldens, trails, wildlife, specially marked meditation walks, and all the atmosphere and breathtaking beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountain range. Don't be surprised if you see communities of deer, clutches of wild turkeys, red-tailed hawks, and a bear with its cub rummaging for berries in the dark woods.

Mornings at the Mountain Hearth Lodge begin with a gourmet breakfast. If a full country breakfast is your heart's desire, we're ready. You can almost smell the coffee from here, along with a variety of home-baked muffins, cereals, juices and fresh cut seasonal fruit. Or if you prefer something delicate and light, just let us know.

Policies
  • All rates are for two people and include a full hearty breakfast.
  • A 7% NC sales tax and a 3% local accommodation tax will be added.
  • Weekly, monthly and yearly rates are available.
  • Facility day use rates are available for weddings, reunions, retreats and corporate functions.

  • Our cancellation policy is 7 days prior to check in time. A one night charge will apply if notification does not correspond with the policy requirements.
  • We understand that emergencies occur and plans must change. We will always try to accommodate all requests.
