We are birder friendly.... early morning risings to enjoy the lilt of our 16 birdhouses musical concerts... all while sitting in our bird friendly gardens along with butterflies and iris' to delight your soul. We feed about 20 varieties of birds right here in our backyard, but are also not far from the official "NC Birding Trail" sites in Surry County and nearby the Blue Ridge Mountains with another plithera of fabulous sightings of our feathered friends. With access to private wooded areas, and the Levering Orchard, we enjoy the sightings of some new birds to our area because of the changing migration patterns.... Come join us.... Enjoy a two-night weekend getaway in one of Mount Airy's premier bed and breakfasts. Victorian atmosphere with all the modern conveniences. Down and Dirty - Gardening (2/26/2008 thru 6/1/2008)
I'm the "black thumb" queen, and my flower beds look awful, so I'm looking for YOU to help me overhaul their spaces... Buy one night, get the second night 1/2 price by bringing a outdoor HARDY plant or a dozen bulbs of iris'. Then YOU clean out a little area and plant the plants or bulbs.. If you come during the week ( no Friday or Saturday), I'll give the second night FREE... Help.... I really need your help!!! We did this four years ago, and it was such fun.... and lots to do in Mt. Airy... Mayberry and Wine Country. I even provide the lemonade and cookies.... and of course great gourmet breakfasts! This special runs Feb. 26th through June 1st, 2008 |
