The Inn is easy to find from all major highways coming into Winston Salem. A map and printed directions are mailed to all inquirers. Old Salem (a restored 18th century German Moravian village), four university campuses, Bowman Gray School of Medicine, and popular tourist attractions are all nearby. Guests can request computer print-outs of directions.

An 1852 Chickering & Sons square grand piano is in the parlor, as well as the video library of 500-plus movies for in-room use.

In each of eight guest rooms are Victorian antiques, art and books, private two-person jacuzzi with bubble bath, candles and rubber ducky (the jacuzzi is not in the bathroom), TV/VCR with free movies, stereo system with a wide selection of tapes and CDs, king-sized beds, coffee/tea maker, stocked mini-refrigerator and microwave. Each room also has iron and ironing board, bathrobes, hair dryer, and lighted make-up mirror as well as individual climate control, towel warmers, deluxe air filtration machine, ceiling fans, multiple phones and data port. Some rooms have working fireplaces. The Summit Street Bed & Breakfast Inns boasts a spacious deluxe Nautilus exercise room, a beautiful billiards room, and a golf driving cage. The one-acre grounds are landscaped with fountains, seasonal plants and flowers. Breakfast is placed in your room mini-refrigerator to be eaten at your leisure. Breakfast consists of Starbucks coffee, tea, or soda, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit cup topped with yogurt and granola, pastry, quiche, ham biscuit, and bagel. Your in-room breakfast table is set with old-fashioned china, silver and fresh flowers. You may also order our very popular Amaretto French toast with whipped cream, 100% maple syrup and Polish sausage to be delivered to your room between 8:45 and 10:45 a.m. Two popular gourmet restaurants (Michael's on Fifth and the Zevely House) located in restored historic homes are only two blocks away. They will deliver to your room. Sample menus of these and other recommended restaurants are available for perusal. Antique shops and parks are a short walk away.
