| The Lodge on Mirror Lake is a beautifully decorated three bedroom three bath bed & breakfast in Highlands, North Carolina. The common area of the house has a fireplace, separate dining room, full kitchen, air conditioning and friendly decor. You can fish from the deck or dock just steps from the lovely outside area, canoe or paddle the picturesque Mirror Lake in the paddle boat. Or just relax on the expansive decks and listen to the water cascade over the nearby dam. Less than a mile from Main Street this rental has it all. Rent one room or the entire lodge. Children are welcome if you reserve the entire lodge. |

| Each bedroom has a private balcony/deck overlooking the lake. These lovely suites have a relaxing shower or jetted tub and gorgeous decor. Each room has a mini refrigerator for guests to enjoy a glass of wine in the privacy of their own suite. Bring your favorite novel to read as you are sure to be drawn to your deck. The rooms are equipped with a TV and VCR or DVD player. Bring your personal laptop to use with our high-speed internet connection. Adjacent to the Lodge we now offer a newly renovated Private Cottage. |

The soft sweet-smelling green grass surrounding the lodge invites you to take a stroll around the lodge. In the summer, pink and white rhododendrons bloom in abundance around the grounds. The amazing cool nights call you to sit on the main deck to either sip a cool drink or a glass of wine. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the swans as they glide by on the still waters of Mirror Lake. The gentle sound of the water rolling over the small dam just to the left of the lodge is hypnotizing and soothing. In addition to the individual balcony/deck off each suite, the lodge has an expansive waterfront main deck with tables, chairs, and loungers for your pleasure. The main living room features a comfortable seating area that has been completely redesigned with deep soft sofas. For your enjoyment a game table is located next to a multitude of spacious windows overlooking the deck on Mirror Lake. In addition to your own private TV and DVD or VCR in your room, there is a TV in the living room as well. Our WiFi internet is accessible with your own laptop. The lodge has a common dining room that is elegantly decorated with a six person formal dining table adjacent to a full kitchen. The lodge has a floating dock which has a canoe and paddleboat for the use of our guests. You might want to purchase a day fishing license and try your luck catching a nice large mouth bass in the lake. Relax on the lakeside deck on a lounge chair or sit under one of our umbrellas with a chilled glass of wine. The Lodge on Mirror Lake is quiet, serene, and frankly one of the most relaxing settings you will ever visit. |
