The Lamplight Inn resides on 5 acres of a 150 year old tobacco farm surrounded by fields and woods.

 Henderson, North Carolina Bed and Breakfast: Step back from the fast pace of today at the Lamplight Inn, located just 45 minutes from the Raleigh-Durham airport and less than 2 miles from I-85. Enjoy fishing, sailing, hiking, water skiing, and more at the nearby Kerr Lake State Recreatio Area. The Inn offers four bedrooms with private baths and coming soon will be a fifth bedroom along with four cottages restored from the former tobacco drying cabins.

Rent the Inn and/or the spacious grounds.
The ambiance of the inn with it's Victorian parlor and high ceilings lends itself easily to a formal affair, The front lawn and 100 feet of porch could be an idealic setting or the rustic nature of the tobacco farm buildings could as easily be suitable for a country hoedown. The versatility, the ample parking(boats, cars and bikes)and the amenities could be just the right formula for your next family get together or elegant affair. Activites provided are a basketball hoop, pitching horseshoes, or lounging on the hammock, rocking on the front porch with tea or a picnic basket under the spreading Oak tree. It's OK to build a bonfire, too. Kerr Lake is just down the road.
Can you picture a bride and groom in their formal attire with the natural setting of the woods in the backgrond? It could be a memorable scene. Also on the rear grounds there is an adorable Pitate's Den cabin, a Tarheal Retreat Cabin and a campground.

It's so peaceful in the country. Relax and unwind in the serenity of woods, Kerr Lake and farm atmosphere. You can loll on the wrap-a-round porch, the hammock, the screened gazebo or the farm flavored roofed patio. You may prefer to shoot a few hoops, pitch some horseshoes, play crochet, or go to the lake for a swim or the stables for horseback riding. There are books, puzzles, games, HDTV and 24/7 beverage bar, full breakfast each day and afternoon snacks for your pleasure.

We appreciate your service whether you are active, recently retired (within 180 days) and including miltary, police or fire and rescue.
You will receive 20% discount on any stay of 3 days or longer or the third day FREE, whichever discount is higher.

Special Rates for Kerr Lake fishing Tournaments.
Kerr Lake is home to many fishing tournaments throughout the year and we gladly welcome the registrants at the Inn, the cabins, or the campground. There are electric connections in several locations for the trawlers, ample room for your boat, truck, van, camper, tent or what have you. Rates are affordable, the area is very safe and Flemingtown boat ramp is only 1 1/5 miles down the road. The Bed and Breakfast has specially discounted rates for your comfort and convenince. Breakfast is not included but all beverges are always available including early coffee. Inquire about the rates for your group and call early for any selelction.

FREE 3rd day of a consecutive mid-week stay.
The Lamplight beckons thee to stay a while and relax in the country. The 3rd night is FREE on any consecutive mid-week stay. Bring guests or famiy and the 2nd room on a 2 day stay is HALF PRICE. Full breakfast, 24/7 beverage bar and snacks are all included every day. Their is a family suite also available for $100. HDTV, guest refrigerator, popcorn and microwave are in the TV lounge. Friday and Saturday are excluded but a stay 6 days and pay for 5 or stay a full week and pay for only 6 days. Other discounts cannot be combined.

Discounts for Seniors and/or AAA travelers
Full breakfast, 24/7 beverages and snacks. Your service will not be discounted. Just the price you pay will be 10% less than the normal room rate any and all days of the week.
