Introduction
The Inn on Main Street was born a century ago as the home and office of Weaverville physician Zebulon Robinson. From the very start, when the doctor took in boarders, this friendly Victorian home has welcomed travelers to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The Inn is located in the small, quiet town of Weaverville, but is only 10 minutes from downtown Asheville and its Biltmore House, antiques shops and quaint cafes. It's also minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, one of America's most scenic roads and a glorious quilt of color in the fall.

                                            

click here for accommodations The inn features five rooms in the main house, and two rooms in a cottage joined to the house by huge porches. All have private baths, two with tubs, and all are decorated in Victorian fashion featuring soothing pastels and surprising details. The Kiser Room, pictured here, features a queen mahogany bed and other fine mahogany furnishings.

A full hot breakfast plus fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee and tea is served. With prior arrangement, picnic lunches and dinners for large groups are available.

Owners, Dan and Nancy Ward, who come to innkeeping from careers in journalism and special education, can help you find the right shops, restaurants, hiking trails or outfitters to make your mountain stay memorable. They have Biltmore House tickets on hand, can arrange ski packages to Wolf Laurel and offer discounted green fees at Reems Creek Golf Club. Porch
