Elizabeth City, North Carolina Bed & Breakfast: Spacious 6-bedroom Inn with in-ground pool and garden area. Nestled in the coastal plain of northeastern North Carolina, the Culpepper Inn is just one hour from Norfolk International Airport. The Inn is surrounded by lush lawns, shrubs, and trees and housed in an 1930's brick Colonial Revival style manor house. The newly built annex (1993) features six guestrooms with queen-sized beds, large recliners and private claw foot baths and soaking tubs. Most rooms have a small refrigerator and microwave. Four of the rooms have gas fireplaces and one is fully fitted to accommodate handicapped clientele.
