Great Smoky Mountains Railroad Package We now have a special package for 2007 with Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. Our package, Family Country Inn Experience at Hemlock Inn, includes tickets for the railroad.

Polar Express: All aboard The Polar Express? when it comes to life on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. Read along with the story as the train makes its magical round trip journey to the North Pole. Meet Santa and enjoy caroling, hot chocolate and a treat. And, for those who believe, a special gift for each child. Kids are encouraged to wear their pajamas! The train departs Bryson City, just a few miles from the Hemlock Inn on November 9-December 23 and December 26-28.
Our special 2007 Polar Express Package is $227 for two adults and two children, and includes breakfast. Call us today (828-488-2885) for more information. Book your ride on the Polar Express early since many rides will sell out! Reservations begin March 1.
Guided Float Trip Package You don't have to fish to enjoy the river. Take a scenic float trip with CSS Outfitters through the Great Smoky Mountains on the Tuckasegee River in a Native Drift Boat. It's a perfect trip for two to relax and enjoy nature's beauty. A guide comes along to paddle and cook your lunch afterwards at Darnell Farms. Along the 2.5 to 4 hour trip, your guide will tell you about local folklore and point out interesting spots along the way.
Package includes one night's lodging at Hemlock Inn for two, along with dinner and breakfast at the inn. CCS Fly Fishing Outfitters provides guide services, boat and lunch.

Whitewater Rafting Package We partner with Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) for these exciting packages. Since 1972, NOC has shared the outdoors with millions of guests. For more about them, visit the NOC Web site. All packages are flexible. They can be adjusted for just one person or can include additional adults or children.
Includes one night's lodging for two with dinner and breakfast at Hemlock Inn, taxes, and whitewater rafting down the Nantahala River. The Nantahala features mild to moderate rapids, so it's fun for both beginners and the more adventureous. Enjoy the river with these options:

Fly Fishing Package: Walk and Wade Exclusive access to private rivers and streams and high elevation lakes and ponds, combine for some of the most spectacular fly fishing available in the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains. Begin with a two hour introduction to fly fishing class on the water.

CCS Fly Fishing Outfitters provides guide services, lunch for all day trips, and all fishing equipment. Fishing licenses, taxes, and gratuity not included. Fishing license available locally for $10 for one day or $15 for three days.
