Introduction
Treat yourself to an unforgettable stay at Franklin Street Bed and Breakfast. Gracious southern hospitality awaits your arrival. Our specialty is a generous sit-down breakfast served in the dining room, and each evening we offer homemade desserts. We've worked very hard to make sure that the Franklin Street Bed and Breakfast is one of your premiere lodging choices in the Carolinas!
Franklin Street Bed and Breakfast offers travelers the warmth and security of returning "home" after a long day's journey. Located in the heart of Mount Pleasant, you may want to enjoy a walk to the local shops or just meander around our beautiful town.
The porches offer wicker rockers, sofas and a swing for your comfort and enjoyment. Select a rocker on the front gazebo-style porch and watch small-town America pass before you! Grab a book from our library, get comfortable on the swing in the screened porch and listen to birds and crickets as they play their songs of the country.
Relax in the warmth of century-old accommodations with the comfort of modern amenities. All guest rooms are delightfully bright and sunny. Each has a private bath, downy soft comforters, fluffy towels, plush robes, hair dryer, and television access. This Victorian home is furnished throughout with a mixture of antiques and modern furniture, and every room is attended to with meticulous care.
Enjoy a sumptuous Southern breakfast in our Dining Room each morning. As part of the original slave log cabin, this room's restoration features the original wood ceiling. The sunny, open room is appointed with hardwood oak floors, a silk oriental rug, and dark cherry dining suite. Make sure to check out the special wine and glass racks built into the wall!
We also offer afternoon tea 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. When weather permits, our guests can enjoy afternoon tea on the screened-in porch.
Cabarrus County is home to a number of NASCAR's most famous racing teams and we're also the birthplace of Dale Earnhardt! Since racing has such a strong influence in Cabarrus County, even the nationally famous Concord Mills Mall is shaped like an oval racetrack! Racing isn't the only attraction to our beautiful county. We have some of the most amazing parks and gardens in the South and plenty of museums! All sites and attractions are within just miles of the Franklin Street Bed & Breakfast.
