The Folkestone Inn has ten guest rooms on three floors, all with private baths with old-fashioned claw foot tub / showers and independently controlled central air conditioning. High-season rates are effective Memorial Day weekend thru October. Rates are double occupancy. Singles are $6 less.

Three ground floor rooms with the olde world charm of low, pressed-tin ceilings and flagstone floors.

"Tracks and Trails" (pictured) - One queen bed, stove. View of Deep Creek Valley and the mountains. Cycling decor inspired by the nearby Tsali bike trails. Rate: $98. "Boots and Saddles" - Corner room with a queen sleigh bed. View of Deep Creek Valley and the mountains. Decorated in a horse and rider theme. Rate: $98 "Rods and Creels" - Queen bed plus twin sleeper sofa; sitting area with stove. View of our busy bird feeder, a mountain pasture and the peaks of the Smokies. Decorated with old-fashioned trout fishing gear. Rate: $98.

"Stems and Petals" (pictured) - Tucked away in a hidden nook just off the parlor. Queen bed and covered porch. Great view. Decor inspired by the area's many wildflowers. Rate: $128. "Backroads and Overlooks" - Corner room with queen bed just off the parlor. Covered porch with great view. Decorated with old photos, license plates, maps, and postcards. Rate: $128. "Rocks and Rills" - Large room with a king bed. Sitting area with stove. Private outside entrance and outdoor seating. Decorated with old-style hiking and camping paraphernalia, walking sticks and prints. Rate: $158.

"Boats and Paddles" - Canopied queen bed and a private balcony with a view across Deep Creek valley and the Smoky Mountains foothills. Decorated with prints and photographs of the area's whitewater thrills. Rate: $148. "Lights and Shadows" - A bright corner room, with an antique queen bed, balcony and reading nook. View of Deep Creek valley and the Smoky Mountains foothills. Decorated with old cameras and "Smokies" photography. Rate: $148. "Tunnels and Trestles" - Queen bed and french doors that open to a balcony with a view across Deep Creek valley and the Smoky Mountains foothills. Decorated with model trains, railroad prints and photographs. Rate: $148. "Wrens and Warblers" (pictured) - Canopied queen bed and large bath. French doors open to a private balcony with view of a mountain pasture with the peaks of the Smokies. Decorated with bird prints, bird houses and bird watching guides. Rate: $148.

Click Here to Check on Room Availability RESERVATION POLICIES A deposit equal to a minimum of one night's room rate, or 50% of the entire stay's rate, whichever is greater, is required. 14 days notice is required for cancellations with refund of deposit. In the event of a late cancellation or an early departure, guests are responsible for the entire reserved stay. Weekends require a two-night stay and long holiday weekends may require a three-night minimum. But call us anyway, since shorter stays sometimes become available. Children, age ten and older, are welcome in rooms that accommodate an additional person. We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards, personal checks, travelers checks and cash. Sorry, no pets. Smoking is only allowed outside the inn. Check in between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Check-out by 11:00 a.m.
