Room rates STARTING at $145 - $175 depending on the season.
All rates include breakfast of course.
 Double occupancy depending on the time of year.
$15 each additional person. Weekends usually but not always require a two night booking.

George didn't sleep here but he could have! Colonial Room is a large two room suite decorated in a Colonial motif. In the main suite room is a carved rice plantation, queen size bed complete with canopy. In the side room of the suite is two twin beds. A large bath comes with an antique dressing table, shower and separate antique tub.

Also known as the honeymoon room is a large room in hunter green. Squire Room is furnished with a queen sleigh bed. In an alcove of the room, behind lace curtains, sits a six foot claw-footed tub. The Sandburg Room-A Victorian Bed & Breakfast - The Flat Rock Inn Since Flat Rock is the home of Carl Sandburg the Poet and Nobel Lauerate we have furnished The Sandburg Room as if he was there. Theme decorated in a country motif, has a queen wrought iron bed. The private bath has an antique claw-footed tub with shower. A large private porch with adirondak and rocking chairs adjoins the bedroom.

    Guest Services

  • Complimentary guest refrigerator stocked with cola's, wine, juice, and plenty of ice cream. Help yourself when the urge hits.
  • Nightly turn down of bed with mints on the pillow. A sign of a caring Inn.
  • Afternoon snacks on the vernada of various baked goods from Sandi's Neiman Chocolate cookies, to walnut brownies.
  • For the active, hike a mountain trial 1/2 mile from the Inn or play a game of ping pong, horse shoes or bocci ball. For less challenged play a game of checkers, chess, trival pursuit or cards. For the real laid back relax on the veranda in an old rocking chair or read a book out in the hammock.
  • We will be happy to make dining reservations, lay out an iteniary, meet special dietary requirements or just be there if you need us.
