Introduction

This 3 bedroom, 3 bath retreat is located on 13 acres of beautiful rolling mountain property with so much to do you'll never want to leave. We have ponds, gardens, creeks and springs for exploration, mountain forest hiking trails, and a four stall barn ready for your horses. We also have fishing, hunting, skiing, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, museums, sightseeing, rafting, tubing, archery, sporting clays and even sky diving close by.

Black raspberries and blackberries surround our pasture for picking plus apple, peach, cherry, elderberry and black walnut trees. Our fully equipped kitchen: 2 ovens, 6 gas burner cook top, microwave, trash compactor & ice making fridge make it easy to use our home grown produce.

Our 3 trout ponds (perfect for fishing) have resident ducks, geese and trout. Our hearty home cooked breakfast specials will last B&B visitors all day. This estate is very private and secluded yet we are close to the small towns of Waynesville and Maggie Valley where there is antiquing, river rafting, restaurants and Lake Junuluska. Farm Stay Available ~ feed the ducks, chickens and other livestock. Gather eggs. Groom the goats and horses. Work in the garden, pick berries, apples and peaches in season. Make cobblers and other recipes with home grown ingredients. Call for specific details.
At a 3600 foot altitude, it is usually cool enough to open the windows, but we have a geothermal heat pump that provides both heat and air conditioning when needed. There is a beautiful mountain view from our half-covered wrap around deck, where you can relax and barbecue in the shade or the sunshine. Summer nights are spectacular with fireflies competing with the stars. Other amenities are our two-car garage, unfinished basement, wireless high speed internet, DirecTV and free long distance anywhere in the Continental US.

Rates & Policies
  • January - December: Room with private entrance and bath for $150 a night;
    2nd bedroom for $125. Both have queen beds.
  • Ask us about rates for the entire B&B.
  • Three (3) night minimum rental stay.
  • Two (2) night minimum rental as B&B.
  • Carolina tax 9.75%
  • Refundable security deposit $200
  • Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
