Our History
Built in 1900 as a home for Newton Jerome Lance and his wife Fanny, who owned and operated the first hydroelectric plant on Spring Creek along with an ice house on the property.
In 1919 David and Laura Duckett purchased the land and it remained in their family until 1975. The building remained abandoned until 1990 at which time we began to restore the building and turn it into a Bed and Breakfast Inn.
