The Dry Ridge Inn is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just ten minutes north of Asheville, North Carolina, about six minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Inn is convenient to all the major attractions in the Asheville area, including the Biltmore House, art galleries and shopping, whitewater rafting, hiking, and the campus of the University of North Carolina, Asheville. Travelling along the Blue Ridge Parkway on a day trip, we're just half an hour from Mt. Mitchell, the highest peak in the Eastern continental United States.

This 100 year old country farmhouse was built when Weaverville was called Dry Ridge, on a quiet, tree-lined street on a hill in a graceful community surrounded by dramatic, spectacular mountains.

In our parlor and throughout the three floors, an extensive library in the fine arts, travel and fiction, furnishings of American and European country antiques, and our collection of original contemporary art mix in a warm and welcoming atmosphere of quiet, eclectic comfort.

A large breakfast is served every morning in our dining room downstairs, which seats sixteen at tables for two and four in the gentle morning light. Individual seating is available from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m.

On one of our splendid, bright sunny mornings or in the mid-afternoon sun, or at a lovely early evening sunset, view the unusual fourth floor of our hundred year old inn through the brilliant fall foliage from the privacy of the heated, whirlpool spa (pictured above). It's hidden in the back gardens on the grounds behind the main house.
