Introduction
On the Outer Banks of North Carolina is The Cypress Moon Inn Bed & Breakfast, located on the sound in Kitty Hawk. Nearby is the Village of Duck, ocean beaches, golf courses, restaurants, shops and other attractions.
The Inn has 3 waterfront guest rooms with private baths, private dining and semi-private porches. The rooms are furnished with antiques, entertainment centers with satellite TV, stereo music and refrigerators. Accommodations are for 18 years of age and up. The Cypress Moon Inn is a non-smoking facility.
Besides the beautiful views over the water, you will find the Cypress Moon Inn Bed and Breakfast is located in a mature maritime forest adjacent to the North Carolina Coastal Reserve which affords opportunities for hiking, biking, bird watching, kayaking and canoeing.
Breakfast:
A full breakfast is served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. either in your room on the porch or in the dining room. A continental breakfast will be available from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Vegetarian dishes are available upon request.
The adjacent waters of the sound offer excellent sailing, boat and board, fishing for both salt and fresh species including striped bass, red and black drum, speckled trout, flounder, perch, bass and catfish. Within five minutes or less there are four golf courses - Duck Woods, SeaScape, The Pointe and Holly Ridge.
The ocean beaches of Kitty Hawk are one mile away. Also within one mile or less there is major shopping, movies and several quality restaurants. We offer sailing and surfing lessons, as well.
