Nestled in the coastal plain of northeastern North Carolina, the Culpepper Inn is just one hour from Norfolk International Airport. The Inn is surrounded by lush lawns, shrubs, and trees and housed in an 1930's brick Colonial Revival style manor house. The newly built annex (1993) features six guestrooms with queen-sized beds, large recliners and private claw foot baths and soaking tubs. Most rooms have a small refrigerator and microwave. Four of the rooms have gas fireplaces and one is fully fitted to accommodate handicapped clientele.

The Culpepper Inn is cozy with a smattering of antiques, Orientals, and high thread count linen. The newly built annex (1993) features six guestrooms with queen-sized beds, large recliners and private claw foot baths and soaking tubs. Most rooms have a small refrigerator and microwave. Four of the rooms have gas fireplaces and one is fully fitted to accommodate handicapped clientele. On the grounds, you will find beautiful landscaping, a fishpond, and a screened porch to accent outdoor activities.

Policies:

  • All rooms have private baths.
  • We allow smoking outside in designated areas.
  • We do not accept pets.
  • During the in-season (April through September), premium rooms begin at $125 and annex rooms begin at $100.
  • Premium rooms start at $100 per night during our off-season (Labor Day through Memorial Day) and annex rooms begin at $80 per night.
  • We honor AARP and Government/Military Discounts.
  • Extended stay, business, and group rates are available.
  • Rates are for double occupancy and include a full gourmet breakfast.
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and traveler's checks.
  • We have a handicap-accessible room for those with special needs.
  • Check-in is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Check-out is the next day at 11 a.m.
