For the utmost in privacy with your own fireplace and kitchen, there is Miss Rebecca's Cottage or The Guest House Apartment which is perfect for small families.

Chris & Donna Alley, innkeepers for 18 years, maintain a casual, family oriented-style which will make you feel right at home. Every day starts with a very full breakfast of bacon or sausage, egg dishes, hearty breads, and fresh fruit served to the sounds of quiet classical or mountain music. Breakfast is a great time to make new friends, learn more about the area, and get help planning your mountain adventures.

Return after your day's outing to take in the renewing view from an ample rocker with a glass of peach iced tea and maple cream cookies and other afternoon goodies. Enjoy a stroll through the innkeeper's berry garden where you can sample raspberries, grapes, blueberries, and black currants. A jar of raspberry-jalapeno preserves grown and made at the Inn is a great gift. Giant old rhododendron produce a floral show at Colonial Pines in summer and brilliant maples dazzle in the fall but the quiet evergreen beauty of winter and unfolding of early spring bring special discounts that keep the Inn busy year-round.
