An Architectural Delight The house itself is an architectural delight with some of the area’s finest interior woodwork. The large porches are a beautiful accent to the mellow old red brick of the exterior. The high ceilings, ornate mantles, and other architectural details, transport you back in time when life had an elegance and a relaxed quality seldom enjoyed today. Chestnut Street Inn features eight unique guest rooms (each with a private bathroom). Amenities include satellite TV, XM radio, wireless Internet connection, fine bath amenities, air conditioning, and award winning chocolates on your pillow. Some rooms also offer a steam shower, gas fireplace, jacuzzi tub and robes, DVD player and movie collection, and/or a private sitting area.

Beautiful Porches The large porches are a beautiful accent to the mellow old red brick of the exterior. Guests can relax with a good book, retreat to the jumbo rockers, or play table games with other guests. Walking Distance to Downtown Asheville and Other Attractions A 1/4-mile walk takes you downtown for antiquing, sightseeing, visiting art galleries, and fine dining. By car, the Biltmore Estate is 2 1/2 miles, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, Folk Art Center, hiking trails, fishing, boating, shopping malls, etc are all 15 minutes or less.
