Asheville tradition says that the girls of the Asheville Female College gave Beaucatcher Mountain its name because they would steal away to the mountaintop to meet the young male students from Colonel Stephen Lee's school. This large suite, located on the second floor of the cottage behind the main house, is a perfect romantic hideaway. It is not as old as our historic inn; however, it provides our guests with all the modern amenities. The hardwood floors highlight this recently remodeled suite complete with a living room, sofa bed, gas "wood-burning" stove, sink, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker, and a table/chairs where you can enjoy your morning coffee. Pass through the pocket doors to find a large bedroom with another sitting area that host a beautiful queen size Cherrywood Sleigh bed, a large comfortable wicker chair to relax, read or just watch television in. The suite offers television, satellite, DVD player, movies and wireless internet. The bathroom's 2-person Jacuzzi / Shower and plush robes create the ultimate romantic experience.
