From Asheville, NC: Take I-26 east to Highway 74 exit, (exit #36). As you exit, follow the signs to Charlotte. Take the first exit, Hwy 108, (exit #163). At the end of the exit ramp, go straight across Hwy 108 onto Fox Mountain Road. You will cross #108. Go 1.9 miles to Smith Dairy Road. Turn right and travel .9 miles to Butterfly Creek Inn – which will be on your right. From Columbia/Charleston, SC: Take I-26 west to Highway 108 (NC exit #36). Head east (right) at the end of the ramp onto Highway 108. Go through downtown Columbus, past the Milliken plant to Fox Mountain Road. Turn right and travel 1.9 miles to Smith Diary Road. Turn right and travel .9 miles to Butterfly Creek Inn – which will be on your right. From Charlotte, NC: Take I-85 South to Highway 74 (at King's Mountain) towards Shelby. Take Exit #163 (Columbus/Mill Spring) and at the end of the exit ramp turn left onto Highway 108. Go about 1/4 mile and turn left onto Fox Mountain Road. Travel 1.9 miles to Smith Dairy Road. Turn right and travel .9 miles to Butterfly Creek Inn – which will be on your right.
